WATERING INSTRUCTIONS

Watering your rented Pot Plants and/or Hedges is very important, to ensure that they look their best during inspections, and are returned to us in good condition.

Each hedge needs two full 9L laundry buckets of water every 2 days .

Other outdoor pot plants (eg. Ficus, Gardenias, Conifers, Palms) needs one full 9L laundry bucket twice a week (min) .

Indoor plants (eg. Palms & Peace Lilys) need only 1.5L of water after 2.5 weeks.
Note: pots are sealed.

In the event of a heavy rainfall watering can be delayed for one day only, for plants not undercover.

In the event of heatwave conditions (35 degrees C+ for 2 consecutive days or more, no rain), watering of outdoor plants should be increased to every day. Please call us if you have concerns regarding your indoor plants too, as they may also require more water.

TIP: OUTDOOR POTS & TROUGHS WILL DRAIN CLEAR WATER, SO BEST NOT TO WATER JUST BEFORE AN INSPECTION!

Sadly, the Conifer Hedge shown below is not able to be saved. The client assured us “the heat got it”, however the same plants in our nursery had no signs of heat stress.

The watering of our plants is your responsibility whilst rented to you.

Regretfully, in the case of plant damage caused by lack of watering, we will have to charge cost of replacement.

Prefer us to water for you? No problem!

We can water for $70/wk+GST (If site is accessible or spare key provided. Additional fee applies if key needs to be collected & returned each visit). Fee includes 2 visits per week, for 4 weeks (normal 5 week rental period).
